1. Dorsey says Twitter is thinking about an edit button to fix typos in tweet
by @IndianIdle via @TheNextWeb
We are all waiting for that edit button on Twitter. Can we knock some sense into CEO Jack Dorsey for that addition? However, Dorsey did shed some light on the company’s thoughts about building an edit button for tweets. He added, “It could potentially be tooled to help fix typos.” In 2016, Dorsey said that the company “has been thinking a lot” about an edit button for tweets, but nothing came to fruition. Give us the edit button already, Jack!
2. Facebook Bets Big On Stories, Messaging And Watch – Here Are The Biggest Challenges
by @OSchiffey via @adexchanger
The news feed is still a money-printing machine for core Facebook. Nevertheless, people aren’t sharing like they used to. They are now facing some challenges. The company is putting its faith into the “holy trinity” of new monetization opportunities: Stories, messaging and video. Do you think Facebook will come out strong from their challenges?
3. How to Create a 3D Photo on Facebook
by @adhutchinson via @socialmedia2day
2D photos are so 2017. Recently Facebook rolled out an extension of its Facebook 360 photo capabilities. This extension, called the Facebook 3D photo option, allows users to upload 3D images to their News Feeds – with one caveat. Here’s the catch, Facebook 3D photos aren’t compatible with Facebook Business Pages – other than through the sharing of a post. To create them, you need to have an iPhone 7 Plus or newer – essentially any phone that allows for the Portrait Mode. That means – sorry iPhone 4/5/6 and Android users, but this function doesn’t apply to you (yet)!

by @TaylorLorenz via @TheAtlantic
The world can show flex their photoshop skills on Instagram as custom photo filters are taking Instagram by storm. Users can now buy and download pre-made filters from their favorite influencers to achieve their perfect Instagram aesthetics.
5. Your Snapchat friendships now have their own profiles — and merchandise
by @CaseyNewton via @TheVerge
Snapchat is starting to give in to their no-profiles-necessary way of life. Now Snapchat groups will have their own profiles will all of the media previously saved from the chat. Users can also buy merchandise featuring group members Bitmojis. Does anyone want to get matching Bitmoji T-Shirts?
