In this week’s #MMSocialReport, Twitter has announced that it will extend its 140 character limit to 10,000, Periscope CEO Kayvon Beykpour gives insight about the direction the app will take in 2016 (and its influence on the presidential election this year), and how Instagram’s app suite will give businesses leverage to produce engaging content in 2016.

Social Media Today investigates the limits and stylistic issues this type of change might look like on your Twitter feed. 4. Using the Instagram Suite of Apps for Business
by @BrianHonigman via @SproutSocial
With so many creative apps floating around, it can be hard to pinpoint which are best for creating the perfect Insta-picture or video. Having seen this issue, Instagram has begun to roll out extensions of the app in order to create more interactive content. By differentiating your brand from competitors, Instagram designed Hyperlapse, Layout and Boomerang, which help create GIFs, speed up videos, and tell a bigger story without layout constraints.
