In 2015, the app rolled out Spotlight videos for major holidays such as Halloween, Thanksgiving, etc. Now, it looks like the feature is here to stay for good – @techcrunch is reporting that the feature was so popular among users that the company is picking themes of the week to highlight, and will round up the best videos on the ‘gram to showcase to its users. Think of it as the answer to the Twitter Moments and Snapchat Live Stories, except this scrolls automatically for you.
