Since 1995, Anna’s Taqueria has been a staple for authentic Mexican food in the Boston area. Anna’s Taqueria originated with the passion to bring the home-style flavor of Mexican street food, inspired by the San Francisco Mission District, to Boston. After the opening of the first location on Brookline’s Beacon Street, people could not get enough! This lead to an expansion of what are now 8 Anna’s locations throughout Boston, Cambridge, Newton, and Somerville and a truly cult following. From making sure that every guest is satisfied, to staying in touch with former customers, employees, and partners, to hosting events to help local patrons reach fundraising goals — Anna’s is dedicated to putting people first.
Community
Anna’s Taqueria has been proud to support local charities for more than five years. Anna’s welcomes individuals + organizations to raise money for the cause closest to their heart by testing their skills hand-rolling burritos! During each event, customers are encouraged to spend $10 on a burrito made by the night’s featured roller, plus chips and salsa, with all proceeds from the event going directly to the roller’s charity of choice.
In the past, Anna’s Taqueria has helped customers to raise funds for local charities including Christmas in the City, Lovin’ Spoonfuls, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, MassEquality, the Women’s Lunch Place, the Boston Ballet Foundation, Casa Myrna, and many more. Events typically take place on Wednesday nights from 6:00-8:00pm.

Designed with passion and perfected by tradition, there’s no comparing the taste of Anna’s. It is an ongoing challenge among Anna’s lovers to be able to take on the biggest burrito in Boston!
