1. Snapchat launches its first Lens that reacts to sound

Snapchat lenses have always been able to see you, but now they can hear you too! The first is a fun animal mask will pulse to the beat and react in real-time, and more are expected to follow in the coming weeks.
2. Instagram is Launching Mute and ‘You’re All Caught Up’ Features

Just like on Twitter, Instagram will now allow you to mute users and keep their posts off your feed; not only that, but now you’ll know once you’ve seen everything from the past 24 hours, so there’s no need to scroll endlessly anymore.

According to the Pew Research Center, more teens than ever are using YouTube, with up to 85 percent of responders indicating they do. But as YouTube has risen, Facebook has fallen, declining from 71 percent of teens in 2015 down to 51 percent today.
