We’re big on inspiration here at Metter Media … and in the world of social media, there’s plenty of it to go around. With over 95 million images being posted to Instagram every single day, why would you not look to this platform as a source of inspo? I mean, that is A LOT of content… and within that content, a lot of really great ideas. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with taking someone’s idea, figuring out how you could make it work for your brand or client, and then tweaking it so it’s something totally new and brilliant. Sometimes a little dose of inspo from someone else is all you need to get those creative juices flowing.

From incredibly witty campaigns to gorgeously crafted aesthetics, here are some accounts we can’t get enough of this month on Instagram:

1. @Postmates

There’s just something about a solid rainbow feed that makes us swoon, especially when it’s done with such ease. Aside from their stellar aesthetic, Postmates has proven that keeping it simple can often lead to the greatest impact. Take their #WeGetIt series. The design is uncomplicated, the concept straightforward — but thanks to a pop of color and some very relatable musings, an extremely engaging campaign was born.

Instagram isn’t just a factory of amazing ideas and inspo for foodies — the abundance of creative genius spans all industries, from private insurance companies to global movements … like Red. We love how this account takes a very serious topic and (appropriately and respectfully) creates an informative, yet fun and inspiring feed. This account is chock full of great ideas — Branded wallpaper Instagram stories, interactive quizzes, trending memes, famous quotes … the list goes on.

3. @SoulCycle

There’s a way to keep your feed branded without it looking, well … too branded, and SoulCycle is the perfect example. Notice how that vibrant yellow makes it way to *almost* every post, but isn’t so obnoxious that you feel like you’re choking on sunshine? That’s the way to do it. We’re especially loving the sneaky yellow touches in posts like this, this, and this!

Looking for some inspo on text-heavy imagery? You just hit the jackpot. This media company generates a text/graphic-focused image every other post, and they are never the same, like ever. Brit + Co definitely has a playful, quirky vibe, which isn’t a good fit for every brand, but after perusing through their feed, you’re bound to walk away with a few good ideas you can work with to make your own.

We mostly love Ben & Jerry’s for the invention of Half Baked and Phish Food, but we also hold a special place in our hearts for their epic social media inspiration. We’re particularly obsessed with the variety of video/gif concepts they come up with. From super subtle touches that amp up a static image, to some hilariously directed masterpieces — we can’t get enough of their sweet, sweet creativity.
